Minor Midget Game Reports

The International Truckload Midget Minor A Belleville Junior Bulls played their final games against Ajax in the first round of the playoffs.

On January 19 the Bulls travelled to Ajax and in a no penalty game, lost in the final seconds 3-2. Scoring for the Bulls were Colin Moore from Connor Cassidy and Wade Little; and Brennan Chesterton from Luc Lentini and Little. Eric Wells was solid in net.

On the 20th the Bulls hosted Ajax and came out flying, ending up with a 3-0 win. The Bulls goals were scored by Cassidy from Moore; Cassidy from Jarrod Pulver; Drew Scott from Davis Maschi and Garrett Sherry. Riley Sampson was in net picking up the shut out.

The Bulls travelled to Ajax on January 23 and in a game full of penalities were edged out 2-1. The Bulls lone goal was scored by Jack Garrow from Davis Maschi. Eric Wells was between the pipes.

The Bulls now will play a round robin with Clarington and Port Perry in the Second Season.

Week-ending Jan.15th, 2011

The International Truckload Midget Minor A Belleville Junior Bulls played their final league game and started the play-offs this past week.

On January 10th the team travelled to Uxbridge and came home with a win. The Bulls worked hard as a team and beat the Stars 3-0. Scoring for the Bulls were Wade Little, Cameron Bell and Liam Hayes. Assists went to Little(2), Garrett Sherry, Jarrod Pulver and Jack Garrow. In net and earning the shut-out was Riley Sampson.

In the first round of the play-offs the Bulls will face the Ajax Knights. On January 13th, in Ajax the teams played to a 2-2 tie. Goals for the Bulls were scored by Drew Scott and Patrick Gogarty, with Sherry picking up an assist. Eric Wells was between the pipes.

At home, on the 15th the Bulls lost 3-0. Riley Sampson was in net.

The Bulls will need to rally together this week as they meet Ajax both Wednesday and Thursday.

Week ending December 30th

The International Truckload Midget Minor A Belleville Junior Bulls competed in the Cobourg Silver Stick December 27-29. The team played three games, and although the boys played well we came up short in all three games.

In the first game against Quinte West the team lost 3-1. The Bulls lone goal was scored by Wade Little with helpers to Colin Moore and Garrett Sherry. Riley Sampson was in net for the loss.

Against Stouffville in the second game, we again lost 4-1. The lone Bulls goal was scored by Jarrod Pulver from Little. Stopping shot after shot, Eric Wells was in net for the loss.

In the third and final game, the Bulls faced Huntsville and again could not come out ahead losing 1-0. Riley Sampson was strong in net.
