Weekend Report October 23 to 24

The International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Jr. Bulls played only one game this weekend. The
Bulls shut out the Pickering Panthers on October 23, winning 3-0. Bulls goals were scored by Kyle Foley and Connor Cassidy (2). Assists went to Joey Thompson, Patrick Gogarty, Wade Little, Eric Wells and Colin Moore.  Wells was between the pipes, earning the shut-out.

Weekend Report October 16-17

The International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Junior Bulls played three games at home this past week. On October 13th the Bulls beat the visiting Cobourg Cougars 2-0. Bulls goals were scored by Jarrod Pulver from Garrett Sherry and Josh Leadbeater, and Wade Little from Janson Mulder and Jack Garrow.  Riley Sampson was between the pipes for the shut out.

On the 16th the Bulls faced the Oshawa Minor Generals and beat them 5-3. Bulls goals were scored by Little, Connor Cassidy, Patrick Gogarty and Joey Thompson (2). Assists were given to Cassidy. Eric Wells was in net for the win.

The visiting Ajax Knights went home with a loss on the 17th, as the Bulls skated to a 4-3 win. Scoring for the Bulls were Kyle Foley, Little, Thompson and Colin Moore. Assists went to Pulver, Moore, Cassidy, Little and Drew Scott. Sampson picked up the win in net.

Whitby Tournament Report

The International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Jr. Bulls entered the Whitby Thanksgiving Tournament this past weekend, October 8 - October 11.

In our first game we lost to the Markham Waxers 3-1. The Bulls goal was scored by Jack Garrow assisted by Colin Moore and Wade Little.  Eric Wells was in net for the loss. Wells was selected game MVP.

We faced the Orleans Blues in our second game and tied 2-2. Josh Leadbeater and Connor Cassidy scored for the Bulls with assists going to Garrett Sherry, Moore and Little. Riley Sampson took care of the net minding duties and was selected as game MVP.

Our third game saw us facing the Cobourg Cougars and we beat them 6-3.  Scoring for the Bulls were Joey Thompson, Luc Lentini, Patrick Gogarty, Cassidy (2) and Little. Assists went to Garrow, Gogarty, Cleave, Jarrod Pulver, Kyle Foley, Thompson, Little, Cleave, Janson Mulder and Moore. Wells was between the pipes. Game MVP was Lentini.

The Ajax Knights were our final preliminary round opponents and we beat them 1-0. The Bulls lone goal was scored by Sherry assisted by Pulver and Gogarty.  Sampson was between the pipes for the shut-out. Sherry was game MVP.

In the semi-final game we again faced the Waxers and though we fought back hard in the third period we lost 4-3. Bulls goals were scored by Sherry, Lentini and Gogarty with assists going to Mulder, Cleave and Little. Wells was in the net. Game MVP's were given to Gogarty and Little.

The Markham Waxers went on to win the tournament.

Weekend Report

The International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Junior Bulls played their first season game in Ajax on September 25. The Bulls had a rough game and lost 5-1. The Bulls lone goal was scored by Connor Cassidy assisted by Luc Lentini. Riley Sampson was in the net.

On September 26 the International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Junior Bulls hosted Trenton and took a 8-4 loss. Goal scorers for the Bulls included Janson Mulder, Joey Thompson and Connor Cassidy (2).  Assists went to Evan Cleave (2), Drew Scott (2) and Cassidy. Eric Wells was in the net.

The International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Junior Bulls travelled to Cobourg and played to a 1-1 tie on September 30. The Bulls goal was scored by Patrick Gogarty unassisted and shorthanded.  Riley Sampson was in the net.

The International Truckload Midget Minor Belleville Junior Bulls played a home and home against the Port Perry Predators this weekend. On October 2 the Bulls travelled to Port Perry and won 3-1. Bulls goals were scored by Jarrod Pulver assisted by Evan Cleave, Patrick Gogarty unassisted and Wade Little assisted by Connor Cassidy and Colin Moore. Eric Wells was between the pipes. On October 3 the Predators came to Belleville and the Bulls came out on top with a 7-3 win.  Bulls goals were scored by Joey Thompson (2), Wade Little, Connor Cassidy (2), Jarrod Pulver and Josh Leadbeater. Assists went to Little (2), Patrick Gogarty (2), Cassidy (2), Garrett Sherry,Drew Scott (2) and Janson Mulder. Riley Sampson was between the pipes.
